The Orange County Sports Commission hosts the inaugural OC Sports Awards Gala, set to honor the region's outstanding athletic talent, June 3, 2025, at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

A hub for some of nation’s top talent across multiple sports and home to the highest concentration of Olympians in California.

This prestigious evening will celebrate the accomplishments of athletes, coaches, and sports figures who have significantly impacted Orange County's sports community.

Nominate an athlete from Orange County today! Nominations open March 1, 2025.

  • Male High School Athlete of the Year
  • Female High School Athlete of the Year
  • Male College Athlete of the Year
  • Female College Athlete of the Year
  • Male Professional Athlete of the Year
  • Female Professional Athlete of the Year
  • Icon Award
  • Rising Star Award  - Demonstrating a passion for sport, leading with kindness and looking to make an impact the award is given to an individual who is on the rise to becoming a star in their respective sport.
  • Heart & Hustle – awarded to an individual or team consider to be “the underdogs” who have shown strength in overcoming adversity.
  • Philanthropist of the Year - Recognizing individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the community through sports-related philanthropy.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award - Honoring a lifetime of service and dedication to sports in Orange County. 
  • Legacy Award – An individual whose impact has left a legacy in the Orange County sports community.

Please only submit one (1) nomination per candidate.

Multiple nominations for the same candidate do not increase chances of winning.

Self nominations are welcome.

All questions are required to be completed for consideration.

Nominations without complete info will not be considered.

All student nominations require nominees to be in good standing with their educational institution. Including but not limited to; academic standing, behavior, attendance, etc.

All winners are voted on by credentialed media members, no appeals will be accepted.

Orange County Sports Commission and its affiliates are not responsible for the outcomes of honorees.

By submitting a nomination you certify that all information is accurate and if requested proof may be provided to certify information provided.

Each nominee must exhibit the qualities listed in their category to be considered.

Nominations open March 1, 2025 and close March 31, 2025

Finalists will be announced Spring 2025. Honorees are selected by credentialed and voting members of the media.
